David Javitch
AIBA BOARD CHAIR
David is a management psychologist, leadership specialist, and president of Javitch Associates in Newton, Massachusetts. As a specialist in organizational issues, he combines field-proven managerial and psychological methods to enable individuals, teams, and departments to achieve and continually ensure organizational success. Recognized nationally and internationally, the spotlight shines on Dr. Javitch’s work in both the academic and business worlds in the fields of assessment, consultation/coaching, training, and public speaking. Javitch’s practice includes a diverse client base spanning many industries and countries.
As a faculty member at Harvard University and now retired from Boston University, Javitch teaches management courses to graduate students, mid-career physicians, and industry executives. Javitch has been a Visiting Professor at Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage, Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, and Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. In the past, he worked for the European Union as a leadership trainer and consultant to the health care reform movement. He has also consulted and presented intensive training courses for the USAID in South Africa, as well as Ethiopia, India, and elsewhere.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Men’s Associates for Hebrew Senior Life and an active member of the AJC and AIPAC. Javitch is a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center, the President’s Circle at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and the Small Business Executive Board of The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.
